The Lineup Generator

DraftKings Showdown Lineup Builder

Build single-game DraftKings Showdown lineups, up to 150 at a time, then download a file you upload straight to your contest.

A Showdown contest is built from a single game rather than a full slate, which is why it shows up on a Thursday night, a Sunday night, or any standalone matchup. The Lineup Generator builds Showdown lineups for that one game and hands you a file to upload, a full batch of them in one pass.

One game, a full set of lineups

Showdown uses a single game, so every player in your lineup comes from the same two teams. The Generator builds these lineups for DraftKings Showdown, and FanDuel single-game works the same way, for NFL and MLB. As with the rest of the tool, the projections are built in, so the only file you bring is your entries file.

You enter the Showdown contest yourself, on your own account. The Generator builds the lineups and fills the file; it never signs in and never submits an entry for you.

Up to 150 single-game lineups

Single-game contests often take a lot of entries, because the pool of players is small and lineups differ in fine ways. Building a hundred and fifty of those by hand is tedious and easy to slip on. The Generator builds the whole batch at once, up to 150, each one its own entry in the file you upload back.

  • Lock the player you want in every lineup, or ban the one you want in none.
  • Cap how often a player appears across your Showdown set, and floor the ones you want in.
  • Stack players from the game together when you want them paired.
  • Swap any player on a finished lineup by hand before you download the file.
  • See why each lineup was picked, one lineup at a time.

Every dial starts on a default, so you can build a full Showdown set without changing a thing, then adjust only where you want to.

The same three-step loop

  • Enter the Showdown contest on DraftKings, then download the entries file.
  • Drop it into the Generator, pick the single game, and build. Each entry gets a lineup.
  • Download the finished file and send it back up on the same page. All the entries fill in one go.

The site has a one minute and fifty second walkthrough of the whole loop. New to the format? Read Classic vs Showdown in the Learn hub for the difference between a full-slate lineup and a single-game one.
