Every account has its own code. When they subscribe, you earn 5% of what they pay us, every month they stay. They pay the regular price. You get the credit. This is not a free month for them.
The reward is credit on your account, not cash, and it cannot be converted to cash. It is held for 14 days before you can spend it, so a payment that gets reversed does not leave us paying out on money we never kept. Nothing accrues on your own subscription: a code cannot refer itself, and the server refuses it on both sides.
You are never told who signed up or what they bought. Your account page shows a count and an amount, which is all a referral page should reveal about another customer.
