The Lineup Generator
FanDuel Lineup Optimizer for NFL and MLB
Build FanDuel lineups for the NFL and MLB contests you enter yourself, then export a file FanDuel's uploader reads and upload it back.
The Lineup Generator makes FanDuel lineups and exports them in the shape FanDuel expects, so a full set of entries goes from empty to filled in a couple of minutes. You still enter your own contests on FanDuel. The Generator takes care of the building, under the cap, for every entry at once.
FanDuel, NFL and MLB
The tool handles FanDuel Classic, built from a full slate, and single-game Showdown, built from one matchup. It covers NFL and MLB on the slates we publish each day. Because the projections live inside the tool, you never hand it a spreadsheet; you hand it the entries file FanDuel gave you, and it fills every line.
FanDuel sets its rosters a little differently from other sites, and the export already matches that. You download a file FanDuel's own uploader reads, upload it, and your entries fill. The Generator does not log in to FanDuel and does not place anything for you.
One file, every entry filled
If you enter a FanDuel tournament a hundred or more times, the slow part is not deciding to enter, it is producing that many distinct lineups without a mistake. The Generator produces up to 150 of them in a single build, each one landing in its own row of the file you upload.
- Keep a player in every lineup with a lock, or keep one out of all of them with a ban.
- Cap how often any player appears across the set, and floor the ones you want represented.
- Use stacking when you want specific players to ride together.
- Edit a built lineup by hand, swapping any player, before the file leaves the tool.
- See the reason behind each lineup, lineup by lineup.
Defaults are set for you on every dial, so a first build needs no setup at all. The controls are there when you want to steer, not a wall you have to get past first.
The FanDuel round trip
Three moves, two of them on FanDuel and one here.
- Enter your FanDuel contests, then download the entries file FanDuel gives you.
- Drop the file in and build. Each entry gets its own lineup.
- Download the finished file and upload it back on FanDuel. The whole batch fills in one go.
A one minute and fifty second walkthrough on the site shows the flow end to end. The video uses DraftKings for the demo, and FanDuel works the same way: the file comes from the site, goes back to the site, and the Generator sits in the middle filling it.

Common questions
Does the Generator export to FanDuel?
Yes. Lineups export in the format FanDuel's upload expects, for Classic and single-game Showdown, in NFL and MLB.
Can I build a lot of FanDuel lineups at once?
Up to 150 in one build, each filling its own entry in the file you upload back to FanDuel.
Do I have to supply projections?
No. They are already in the tool. The only file you bring is your FanDuel entries file, and the only file you take away is the finished one.
Does it log in to my FanDuel account?
No. It never touches your account. You enter your contests yourself and upload the finished file where you entered them.
